So get the idea out of your head that it matters. When you get all wrapped up in the idea of a home based business is when the weasels strike, let it go!
The most important thing about your business (I'm dropping the term 'home based' now) is that you have your business revolve around your passion. What do I mean by this? We're all born with something that we feel passionate about. That might be cooking, children, writing, sewing, building, or whatever. What it is is of little importance. What's important is that you have your business revolve around your passion. If you do this, you'll be doing what Mark Twain was referring to when he said, "Make a vacation out of your vocation and you'll never work a day in your life."
The only way to make a vacation out of your vocation is to have it revolve around your passion. That's it. If you have your business revolve around your passion you'll do what needs to be done to make it work. You'll study, ask questions, and learn, and the next thing you know, you'll have a home based business. That, in a nutshell, is how you start a home based business, or should I say business? Because as we've learned, 'home based' really doesn't mean anything. |
